Yahoo! introduce o serie de aplicaţii pe Yahoo! Mail.

- MyPhotos – o galerie foto a tuturor pozelor de pe email
- EditPhotos – editor online al fotografiilor
- PayPal – funcţiile PayPal direct în email
- ShareIt – permite share-ul fişierelor de până la 1Gb

Spun din nou deoarece săptămâna trecută ymlover avea un fel de redirect ciudat către o pagină ciudată (suspended account). S-a rezolvat, și sper să fie bine acum.

Important zilele astea a fost un workshop online cu oficialii yahoo pe tema noii versiuni 9, proaspăt lansată.
Am să punctez și eu câteva întrebări și răspunsuri:

MessengerBlogSarah: 9.0 is our latest client and contains the most features. Yahoo! Messenger for Vista is still in Beta and does not offer all of the “core” Messenger features yet such as webcam and chat rooms. So if you’re on Windows Vista and want the FULL Yahoo! Messenger experience, you should download and install Yahoo! Messenger 9.0, available here: http://messenger.yahoo.com/win. liezl: how can i personalize my yahoo messenger?
MessengerBlogSarah: Hi Liezl – There are lots of ways but I’ll just list a few here to get you started. Skins are one of the easiest ways to personalize. From the main Messenger 9.0 window, click on the dot next to the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the upper right corner. This will bring up the skin chooser menu – click on one to select it and change the look of your Messenger windows.
MessengerBlogSarah: When you’re in an IM conversation, you can also personalize your messages by changing the font color, size and type. Just click the “T” button above the message box to access those features.
MessengerBlogSarah: And lastly, you can add a display image or Avatar that will appear next to you in your friend’s IM windows. At the top of the Messenger window, click on the image to the left of your name, then click the ‘Display Image’ link on the card that pops out. Have fun!

După cum bine ştiţi, fie din presa locală fie din cea internaţională, compania Yahoo! a primit o ofertă din partea gigantului Microsoft. Suma de 44,6 miliarde dolari este o sumă ce subestimează valoarea acţiunilor companiei drept pentru care, conducerea a respins această ofertă.

Ce urmează? Fie o nouă ofertă a celor de la Microsoft (an offer that thay can’t refuse), fie un parteneriat Yahoo! – Google, fie o fuziune cu AOL.
